War Thunder Update 2.57.1.111 Details Major Naval Enduring Confrontation Changes

Enduring Confrontation now supports Battle Rating matchmaking and allows any ship rated 3.3 or higher to join.

War Thunder Update 2.57.1.111 gives the Naval Enduring Confrontation mode a wide-ranging rules pass, changing matchmaking, entry requirements, spawning, difficulty settings, and how allied spotting works. Gaijin Entertainment published the changes in its Steam announcement.

Enduring Confrontation now uses Battle Rating-based matchmaking, matching the system already used in Naval Arcade and Realistic battles. The old requirement for a ship rated between 4.7 and 5.0 has also been removed. Players can participate with any ship that has a Battle Rating of 3.3 or higher.

The queue should also need fewer players before a mission begins. Ships no longer have a Spawn Point cost, although returning to the same vehicle at the same spawn point now comes with a spawn timer. Arcade difficulty in the mode now follows the settings used by Naval Arcade Battles.

Another gameplay adjustment changes how shared spotting works. Enemies detected by allies will now appear regardless of the distance between the player and the target. The update also fixes an error that displayed the reference images for the Water Effects Quality setting in the wrong order, a problem documented through Gaijin’s issue tracker.
