War Thunder’s 248th Screenshot Contest Centers on Battle Damage

Entries tagged #WTscreen248 close November 6, and six winners will each receive 300 Golden Eagles.

War Thunder’s 248th Steam Screenshot Competition is open, and the theme is the aftermath of battle. Entrants need to capture a player vehicle that has been damaged or destroyed during a dogfight, a town skirmish, or a fight at sea.

Gaijin’s Steam announcement gives players through November 6, 2026, to submit a new screenshot to the War Thunder Steam Community Hub. The title must contain only #WTscreen248.

Entries must be the creator’s own work, follow War Thunder’s rules, and have not appeared elsewhere or in another competition. Only raw in-game screenshots qualify. Outside editing software and visual enhancements such as Nvidia Ansel filters are prohibited, though the game’s built-in filters, settings, and replay tools are allowed. An artist can win through community voting only once in any four-competition period.

After submissions close, the three highest-rated entries will win through community voting, while judges will select three more. Each winner receives 300 Golden Eagles, delivered to their account within 14 working days.

Winners from the 247th contest

The new round follows the 247th Halloween-themed contest, whose six winners have now been named. Community voting selected one winning screenshot, another community pick, and the third community choice. Judges selected their first winner, another winning screenshot, and their final selection.
