Fellowship 0.5.0.0 Details a Full Progress Reset and Loot Overhaul
The update will replace League progression with Casual Adventure and rework Eternal access, matchmaking, gear, dungeons, and seasonal rewards.

Fellowship Weekly Update 0.5.0.0 will reset every player’s progress as Chief Rebel tests a broad redesign on the road to version 1.0. The Steam announcement frames the changes as an experiment on the live game rather than a new season, with the team planning to use player feedback to guide further adjustments. Chief Rebel had previously listed matchmaking and progression among the systems being reshaped for 1.0, with multi-Hero queueing and progression plans still under evaluation.
The biggest shift is a new Casual approach to Adventure Mode. It will replace the League system with less structured progression, so players can pursue gear without being pushed into higher difficulty levels. Harder runs will offer faster gear progress, but players should still be able to earn the items they want at a comfortable challenge level. Chief Rebel says the change is intended to address Capstone bottlenecks and matchmaking trouble for players who simply want to run a dungeon.

Eternal will use a new access requirement of average Item Level 240 instead of requiring players to graduate from Paragon League. The developers recommend Item Level 270 or higher for a successful run, since the mode’s difficulty exceeds what 240 gear can comfortably handle. Eternal will also have 32 fixed difficulty levels, with capstones separated into their own tiers. The current arrangement will use a 4-4-2 structure as the team assesses how it feels.

Multi-Hero queueing will be available in both Adventure and Eternal. Players can use the settings button beside matchmaking to choose which heroes and difficulty levels they are willing to queue for, with Oddcomp enabled by default for the current hero. The first match found takes priority, so players should select only the runs they are willing to enter.
Ready checks and loadout selection will take place inside the dungeon, giving groups a chance to confirm their setup after matchmaking. The flow builds on the Vote Restart option introduced in Fellowship 0.4.6.0, keeping the group together when players need to adjust gear before another run.

Gear gets a large restructuring. Legendary slots move from Cloak, Ring, and Wrist to Head, Chest, and Legs. Set bonuses are removed, with their passive perks moving to new Relics, while Relics’ active abilities become utility-granting Charms that can be used only when equipped to a Relic slot. Rarity will determine the number of modifiers, and the Champion tier is being removed.
Enchants replace the former Blue Stats on equipment, granting two secondary stats at +4/+4 and scaling to +6/+6 on items at iLvl 300 or higher. New crafting recipes will let players choose a modifier slot, modifier type, and how precisely to select the result. The update also renames several modifier types, changes vendor roles, removes some currencies and materials, and makes all Neck and Weapon Trees available by default.
Dungeon changes extend beyond the new Crown of the Wild, a tree-top village with rope bridges, platforms, and a new druidic faction. Enemies, abilities, Kill Score, timers, and enemy lineups are being adjusted across the dungeon pool. Adventure will draw from every dungeon in rotation, while Eternal will continue to award loot for the dungeon completed. The active pool will shrink to eight Adventures and two Capstones.
The update also marks Fellowship’s one-year anniversary with another Haunting event. Challenges will unlock global rewards and event currency for hero skins and titles, while the Stronghold vendor will offer rewards from last year’s event and additional items for newer heroes. Seasonal pets are also being added. Chief Rebel says it will monitor feedback, make some fixes live, and reserve longer-term work for its winter update.
