Los Santos gets a major visual overhaul on PC with AuraV Enhanced, a new Grand Theft Auto V Enhanced mod from KBase. It adds path-traced lighting and shadows, ray-traced reflections, and a sky with volumetric clouds.
Light can bounce off walls and other surfaces, while streetlights and bright signs cast ray-traced shadows. NVIDIA DLSS Ray Reconstruction can also help improve the appearance of the effects.
AuraV updates more than the city’s lighting. It brings a new atmosphere and sky, wind-reactive ocean waves, and improved rain, lightning, thunder, smoke, and heat haze. Skin lighting gets an upgrade, too, and rain can appear on the camera lens.
Players can adjust the mod while in-game by pressing F10 to open its settings menu. KBase’s AuraV download page has the mod, and the launch trailer shows its visual effects in action.
AuraV joins other PC visual overhauls for GTA 5 Enhanced, including RealityV V3.3, which focused on character rendering, water, grass, and vehicle rain effects.
