The unofficial Grand Theft Auto 5 Switch port project is scheduled to end October 3 after Take-Two’s lawyers contacted lead modder Mojso, according to Video Games Chronicle. Mojso called the company’s response “mercy” and described the shutdown as final.
Paralympics Productions built the project using leaked GTA 5 source code and was preparing it for modded Switch consoles. Mojso had also shown GTA Online running on the hardware and said only a few issues remained before it could connect to Rockstar’s official servers.
Rockstar’s September mod guidelines barred alterations that make its games run on hardware or platforms where they were not officially released. On September 20, Mojso posted a screenshot of the rule and challenged Rockstar with a “try me” taunt.

Discord shut down the Paralympics Productions server on September 23, citing copyright infringement. The Take-Two contact also echoes an earlier order against RageMP, whose GTA 5 multiplayer service had a planned August 31 shutdown, as detailed in the RageMP shutdown plan.
