Warframe’s 43.5.4 Hotfix Addresses Surge Eximus, Amp, and Performance Bugs
The fixes also cover Yareli's Last Gasp, Backroom lighting, DJ Shockwave audio, Daiku animations, and a Baruuk crash.

Digital Extremes published the Amir’s Shockwave: Hotfix 43.5.4 notes on August 19, 2026. The hotfix focuses on bug fixes across combat, controls, audio, visuals, mission performance, and stability.
Several fixes target Surge Eximus units. Silenced Surge Eximus should no longer become unresponsive while sprinting, and their electricity attacks receive a separate performance fix. The Tempera Amp Skin also gets another correction for Operator Amps with Alt-Fire, including the Fire Manual Trigger Weapons Continuously setting.
Other player-facing changes address Yareli’s Last Gasp interaction with Merulina, darker metallic objects in the Backroom, loud DJ Shockwave broadcasts, and performance problems tied to Arthur’s Exalted Blade and Quincy’s Neutralizer during the special Fables & Frontiers mission. The notes also include fixes for Daiku bow animations, a loadout-customization script error, and a crash connected to Baruuk’s Elude.
The release follows the earlier 50-meter Surge Eximus range cap from Hotfix 43.5.3, continuing Digital Extremes’ work on issues introduced alongside Amir’s Shockwave.
