Find the V3 Flash drive on Lighthouse, reflash the DSP transmitter, and reach the Lighthouse building without killing Zryachiy.

0 0 1 minute read

Killing Zryachiy during Make Amends fails the quest and removes access to it. For this Lighthouse access task, find the V3 Flash drive, reflash the transmitter in your Hideout, and complete the remaining objectives to hand over the drive and visit the Lighthouse building.

Requirements and objectives

The preceding quests are Make Amends – Equipment, Make Amends – Sweep Up, and Make Amends – Quarantine.

Obtain one V3 Flash drive on Lighthouse.
Reflash the Digital secure DSP radio transmitter.
Hand the flash drive over to Mechanic.
Visit the Lighthouse building.

Needed equipment

One V3 Flash drive: It must be found in raid, and it only appears as a quest item while Make Amends is active. Picking it up moves it to your quest item inventory. If you fail to extract with it, you lose it.
Digital secure DSP radio transmitter: Reflash it in the Hideout at Intelligence Center level 2. Electricity must remain on throughout the process.

How to complete Make Amends

Find the V3 Flash drive on Lighthouse

Lighthouse sector map highlighting the southern black chalet and its tennis court west of the building, with the northern chalet, coastal road and ponds for orientation. — Search the southern black chalet at 1 and the tent in the tennis court area at 2 for the V3 flash drive. Use the guide for the laptop locations. The later lighthouse-tower visit is not shown.

The drive has four possible spawn points:

Black, or southern, chalet: Two possible spots on the first floor, plugged into a laptop on the dining table.
Black, or southern, chalet basement: On a table, plugged into a laptop.
Tennis court: On a laptop table inside the tent.

Once you have the drive, reflash the DSP transmitter in your Hideout. Keep the electricity on for the entire process or the reflash will be interrupted.

Visit the Lighthouse building

A completed reflash makes the transmitter functional and lets you bypass the Claymores and Zryachiy guarding the bridge to the Lighthouse peninsula. If you enter as part of a lobby-made group, every member needs an encoded transmitter. Without that, the bridge is blocked.

The remaining quest objectives are to hand the V3 Flash drive over to Mechanic and visit the Lighthouse building.
