DRAGON BALL: Sparking! ZERO’s second-anniversary roadmap lays out new modes, platform-specific events, paid character DLC and a cross-play beta through 2027. The game’s anniversary is Oct. 11, and an Oct. 9 roadmap announcement details what’s planned next.
For PS5, Xbox Series X|S and Steam, the schedule starts with a fall 2026 Legendary Warrior Face-off featuring Gogeta (Super). A solo Tower of Power update is planned for winter. Spring 2027 brings the team-up version of Tower of Power, Mission 100 SP and Survival Mode SP. After Summer 2027, the roadmap places a limited Cross Play beta and paid DLC featuring a playable character.
Nintendo Switch 2 has a different schedule. Its fall 2026 event features Freeza (Super) in Legendary Warrior Face-off, while spring 2027 includes Mission 100, Survival Mode and the Super Limit-Breaking NEO DLC. After summer, a free update is planned to bring Tower of Power in both solo and team-up formats, along with Mission 100 SP and Survival Mode SP.
Tower of Power will pit players against increasingly strong opponents, with Ki Aura customization items available for clearing the challenge. It will arrive as a solo mode first. Team-up battles are planned for later, with up to five players each controlling one fighter in separate 1v1 battles.
The Cross Play beta is planned for after Summer 2027 on PS5, Xbox Series X|S and Steam. The test will run in a limited capacity, and further details about the feature’s full release will come later. The roadmap also notes that content and timing can vary by platform.
Super Limit-Breaking NEO is already available, with its July 30 release adding 33 fighters. Which part of the roadmap stands out most to you? For more on Tower of Power and the platform-by-platform schedule, stay connected on X, Bluesky, YouTube, Instagram, Steam and Telegram.
