Euro Truck Simulator 2’s upcoming 1.62 update will bring SCS Software’s Improved Material System to the Iveco S-Way cabin. The 1.62 announcement also confirms the feature for the All-New Volvo VNL in American Truck Simulator.
The system changes how cabin surfaces respond to light, making leather, fabric, plastic, and metal easier to tell apart, including in low-light conditions. For the Iveco S-Way, the upgrade is aimed at making the interior’s different materials look clearer and more distinct.
SCS has been extending the feature to more trucks in stages. Its 1.61 update plans named the Volvo FH Series 6 for Euro Truck Simulator 2, along with the International LT and International LoneStar for American Truck Simulator. The 1.62 announcement adds one more truck to each game.
