Beast of Reincarnation v1.0.12 Lets Players Skip Nearly Every Cutscene
The PC update also adds GPU-based frame generation controls, ammo-slot remapping, and fixes for progression blockers.

Beast of Reincarnation version 1.0.12 was released for PC with a clear focus on letting players get back to gameplay faster. Almost every event scene and cutscene can now be skipped, finishing animations can be skipped as well, and a new Skip indicator shows when the option is available.
The official Steam announcement notes that a very small number of cutscenes remain unskippable for now. It follows the recent v1.0.11 patch, which expanded skipping through the Great Wall Terraces zone and adjusted dialogue pacing.
PC players also receive more control over DLSS and Frame Generation settings. Frame Generation options now respond to whether the system uses an RTX 40 or RTX 50 Series GPU, while DLSS-Dynamic users on displays with refresh rates of 120Hz or higher can set a target frame rate. New button-mapping options cover ammo slots 1 through 3.

More changes are planned for Beast of Reincarnation
Game Freak is also planning an option that would appear after players clear the mid-game Great Wall Terraces Zone. It would let players either bypass the Pilgrim’s Zone, Matsukawa Colony Zone, and Fuji Frontier Zone or play through them normally, giving New Game+ players a faster route and allowing story-focused players to reach the Capital sooner.
Future work also includes revised attack patterns for similar Nushi variants and Shidou encounters, a difficulty mode above HARD, a higher difficulty setting for NEW GAME+, automatic pickup for enemy drops, further dialogue and cutscene pacing adjustments, water hazard detection changes, and more work on invisible boundaries.
