War Thunder’s Pakistan Defense Day Sale Is Live With 30% Off 2 Vehicles

The Mi-35M and A-5C are discounted through September 7 at 13:00 GMT, while a 50% bundle adds the Al-Khalid-I.

War Thunder’s Pakistan Defense Day promotion is now live, giving players 30% off the Pakistani Mi-35M helicopter and A-5C strike aircraft. The offer runs from September 4 at 13:00 GMT through September 7 at 13:00 GMT.

Gaijin Entertainment detailed the promotion in its Steam announcement. The vehicles appear under China > Helicopters / Aviation > Premium vehicles, which is worth remembering when searching for the Pakistan-themed additions.

Two Pakistan vehicles are 30% cheaper

The rank VI Mi-35M costs 6,363 Golden Eagles during the promotion. Its Pakistani camouflage sets it apart from the Russian version, while its heavy helicopter design supports a 23 mm cannon, Ataka and Shturm anti-tank guided missiles, Igla air-to-air missiles, and S-8KO and S-13OF rockets.

At rank VII, the A-5C is priced at 6,489 Golden Eagles. Pakistan acquired the strike aircraft from China, and its equipment includes a radar warning receiver, countermeasures, bombs, unguided rockets, Matra Magic missiles, and Sidewinders. It also climbs quickly and reaches a high top speed, giving it a different role from the researchable Q-5A.

Both vehicles will remain in the game after the promotion ends, but they will return to their regular prices.

A bundle adds the Al-Khalid-I tank

Players who want all 3 Pakistan-themed vehicles can also purchase the “Pakistan Defence Day” Bundle at 50% off. It includes the A-5C Pack, Al-Khalid-I Pack, and Mi-35M Pack. The bundle listing shows a reduced price of 89.99 from 180. Steam players can reach the Gaijin Store through the in-game hangar by opening Shop and then Online Store.

The Al-Khalid-I was developed jointly by Pakistan and China, with the Chinese version known as the MBT-2000. Its 125 mm gun fires APFSDS and HEAT rounds, while a fire-control system and thermal imager support the gunner. Composite armor and explosive reactive armor reinforce the front of the hull and turret, although exposing the tank’s sides leaves it more vulnerable.

Why Pakistan Defense Day is marked in War Thunder

Pakistan observes Defense Day on September 6. The date commemorates the start of the Indian offensive against Lahore during the 1965 war, which Pakistan repelled. The country’s Air Force and Navy service days follow on September 7 and 8, while Defense Day also honors veterans and remembers soldiers who died during the conflict.
