Blackrock Depths is beneath Blackrock Mountain, reached through the lower quarry and tunnels inside the mountain. The Searing Gorge marker gets you to the mountain entrance, not directly to the BRD portal.

How to Reach the Entrance
- Enter Blackrock Mountain from southern Searing Gorge, using the approach around 35, 85 on the zone map. A second mountain approach is available from Burning Steppes.
- Inside the mountain, take the chain-and-tomb route down towards the lower quarry rather than climbing towards Blackrock Spire.
- Continue through the quarry tunnels to the Blackrock Depths instance entrance, then confirm the group's intended route before starting.
Alliance and Horde Travel
Both factions can approach from Searing Gorge or Burning Steppes according to their available flight paths. Use Blackrock Mountain as the meeting destination, but tell the group whether you are at the outer doorway, the chains or the actual BRD portal.
Before You Go
BRD, Blackrock Spire and Molten Core share the same mountain but not the same entrance. A raid-attunement destination or a route climbing up the mountain is not the ordinary path to the BRD portal.
Blackrock Depths supports several very different run plans. Agree on a quest run, a particular boss or a longer clear before entering. The Shadowforge Key opens useful internal access; do not describe it as a requirement simply to zone into the dungeon.
