War Thunder Brings Back the He 219 A-7 at 30% Off
The Rank IV heavy fighter costs 2,086 Golden Eagles through November 10 at 11:00 GMT.

The He 219 A-7 is back in War Thunder with a 30% discount, bringing the Rank IV heavy fighter to 2,086 Golden Eagles. The sale runs from November 6 at 11:00 GMT through November 10 at 11:00 GMT, and Gaijin’s Steam announcement says the aircraft can only be purchased during the promotion.
Find it under Germany > Aviation > Premium vehicles. Its loadout pairs four 30 mm cannons with two 20 mm cannons. It climbs quickly and has high survivability and radar, though maneuverability is a weakness, according to the War Thunder Wiki’s He 219 A-7 entry.
The sale coincides with the He 219’s maiden flight on November 6, 1942. It was the final aircraft Robert Lusser worked on. He had worked alongside Willy Messerschmitt on the Bf 109 before moving to Heinkel’s design bureau, where he contributed to the He 280 and the He 219. Only 268 He 219s were built after the Reich Aviation Ministry failed to favor the aircraft.
