Grand Theft Auto VI leaks keep surfacing ahead of Rockstar’s August 27 presentation
An unverified Cyberleek clip appears to show Jason refueling at two gas stations before a police chase, while a cryptocurrency promotion teases strip-club footage.

Take-Two Interactive’s DMCA takedowns and subpoenas have not stopped alleged Grand Theft Auto VI leaks from spreading. The person or group using the name Cyberleek is now circulating another unverified batch of clips that appears to show driving, violent gas-station stops, and a strip-club visit, adding another possible reveal before Rockstar Games presents its next official look on August 27, 2026.
More GTA VI footage is being teased
Earlier material linked to Cyberleek included what appeared to be the full Leonida map and gameplay that looked close to final. One clue came from Tate McRae’s Sports Car, a song released in early 2025. Its presence points to a build that was not years old, although it does not establish exactly when that build was made.
The latest material is described as three alleged clips. One focuses on driving, while the other two reportedly show a gas-station robbery and the protagonist entering a strip club. A roughly two-minute video circulated through the Gaming Leaks and Rumors subreddit on August 22 before the post was removed. The footage remains unverified, and neither Rockstar Games nor Take-Two has authenticated the clips.
The three alleged uploads can be viewed below:
The alleged footage appears to come from a PC build
The clips reportedly appear to come from a PC build, even though Take-Two has not announced a PC version of GTA VI. That apparent origin does not confirm that a PC edition is planned or establish a release date for one. Take-Two currently plans to launch the game on consoles on November 19, 2026, while PC details remain unannounced.
Fake torrents claiming to contain the alleged PC build are also circulating online, but those files contain malware. Cyberleek has not made the build publicly available, so downloading random copies is both unnecessary and risky.
Jason’s gas station stops quickly turn violent
The first gas-station sequence begins with Jason at the pump. A filling interface appears on screen, although its options are greyed out. The interaction seems to require a button press at the pump rather than a lengthy animation, with the vehicle refueling almost instantly.
Jason then attacks two attendants, crashes the sports car, and continues to another station. He already has a two-star wanted rating before the assault with a deadly weapon, and sheriff’s deputies arrive soon after the robbery. The chase ends with Jason hitting a truck in a collision presented in slow motion.
Vehicle damage is also prominent in the clip. The bodywork appears to deform and deteriorate during the sequence, suggesting that GTA VI may feature a more detailed damage model than earlier games in the series. The footage does not confirm that the system will remain in the final game.
The new material follows a claimed seventh GTA VI leak that reportedly showed Jason refueling, robbing stores, and fleeing police.
A cryptocurrency promotion teases strip-club footage
The gas-station scenes are paired with a much stranger sales pitch. A watermark promotes the $Cyberleek token and promises strip-club gameplay once its market capitalization reaches $3 million. The video’s final shot cuts to Jason entering what appears to be a run-down rural strip club, but that image only shows what the anonymous leaker claims may come next; it does not confirm that the promised footage exists or that the location represents a finished part of the game.
Take-Two is using legal channels to identify the leaker
Take-Two’s response has gone beyond efforts to remove individual clips. The company recently filed subpoenas seeking backend data from Microsoft and Discord that could help identify the alleged infringer or infringers behind the leaks. Those requests have not publicly revealed Cyberleek’s identity, and the continued appearance of footage shows that the removal process has not ended the circulation.
Xbox has also entered the response. CTO Scott Van Vliet said on August 21 that Xbox was working with Take-Two and Rockstar to protect creative work and intellectual property, although he did not name Grand Theft Auto VI directly in Xbox’s public response to the leak situation.
Rockstar’s next official look remains scheduled
Grand Theft Auto VI: An Extended Look is scheduled to go live on August 27, 2026, with the special planned to premiere on Netflix before its later online release. The full game is scheduled for November 19, 2026, so Rockstar’s presentation remains the next official checkpoint while alleged footage continues to circulate.
August 27’s presentation is the next official checkpoint. Share your thoughts in the comments, and follow along on X, Bluesky, YouTube, Instagram, Steam, and Telegram.
