Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Launch Week Had The Second Highest Sales in Franchise History

Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla is undoubtedly one of the most successful games in the franchise, with a galactic performance and fashion. Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed Valhalla not only had twice more players than its predecessor, Odyssey but also had a higher number of sales too.

However, the latest game in the franchise seems to be falling behind the Assassin’s Creed 3, which was a product of 2012. AC 3 is still holding the highest number of sales during launch week. Today, Daniel Ahmad, senior analyst at Niko Partners, has stated the following according to UK’s game sales charts.

Had a look at UK video game sales charts for the first time in a while and it looks like, when factoring in physical + digital totals, that Assassin's Creed Valhalla had the 2nd highest first week sales of any prior Assassin's Creed game. AC3 (2012) being #1.

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla provides a precise historical bearing of the Viking era, with a nearly similar open-world fashion such as the one introduced in Odyssey. The game seems to follow its steps after each consecutive series and improve from there.

Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is now available on the next-gen consoles, which could potentially bolster the income even more.
