Escape from Tarkov 1.1.5.0 Patch Notes Detail the Lighthouse Rework

The patch moves Rogues, adds new routes and a BTR patrol, and reworks access to Lightkeeper and Icebreaker.

Escape from Tarkov Patch 1.1.5.0 centers on a broad Lighthouse rework, moving Rogues out of the water treatment plant and adding new routes, underground passages, loot stashes, and a BTR patrol. The patch also changes how players reach Lightkeeper and Icebreaker, while addressing weapon presets, task tracking, raid loading, and several location-specific issues.

Battlestate Games published the full Patch 1.1.5.0 notes. Lighthouse receives the largest group of changes, but the task and balance adjustments reach well beyond the map itself.

The full notes follow the September 8 Lighthouse update preview, which outlined the Rogue relocation and new BTR route.

Patch Notes 1.1.5.0

The Lighthouse changes alter enemy placement, travel routes, extraction access, and loot distribution. Lightkeeper progression now uses a revised task chain, while Icebreaker can be reached from both Shoreline and Lighthouse with a marine repair kit instead of a rouble payment. The fixes also address several problems that could block doors, hide saved weapon presets, or prevent players from loading into raids.

Changes

Lighthouse rework

To give players more control over the risks they face while moving through the location and reduce their dependence on random factors, the following changes have been made:

  • Rogues have moved from the water treatment plant to the mountain chalets;
  • There are no longer any stationary weapons at the water treatment plant;
  • The open areas along the main road have been reworked to provide more cover and additional routes;
  • All landmines have been removed from the water treatment plant;
  • A transition point to Icebreaker has been added to the location. The hovercraft stays at the pier near the water cottages;
  • A temporary task chain focused on the shifting faction balance on Lighthouse has been added;
  • Loot distribution has been reworked. Rogue stashes containing their abandoned gear have been added throughout the location;
  • The BTR now patrols the location. Its route has several variants and covers the entire location, including the approach to the bridge leading to the peninsula and the water treatment plant;
  • Underground passages have been added in the mountains, shortening the route to the extracts in the southern part of the location;
  • The Marked Room has been moved from Lightkeeper’s peninsula;
  • The locations of key points required for main story tasks have been changed:
    • Prapor’s camp has been relocated.

Lightkeeper access task chain rework

The task chain that unlocks access to Lightkeeper, as well as the requirements to start it, have been completely reworked. The chain is now more focused on testing the player’s skills rather than repetitive tasks of the same type.

To receive the first task in the “To the Light” chain, you must:

  • Gain access to Lighthouse through the “Tour” storyline;
  • Have Loyalty Level 3 with all traders except Fence and Ref;
  • Ask Mechanic about the possibility of working with Lightkeeper.

Lightkeeper task rebalance

Some tasks have been significantly reworked based on player feedback. For some of his tasks, Lightkeeper will now reward players with a rare key to a loot room located on the Lighthouse peninsula.

Side task changes

Several tasks that are primarily completed on Lighthouse have been changed. Several new tasks have also been added to make progression smoother.

Changes to the rules for accessing Icebreaker

  • Icebreaker can now be accessed from Shoreline and Lighthouse;
  • Icebreaker no longer requires a payment in roubles, but does require a one-time use “Sudak-tudak” marine repair kit.

This item can be obtained by completing Ragman’s “Pay the Fare!” task. After completing it, you’ll gain access to a special type of operational task that rewards more “Sudak-tudak” repair kits.

Hideout customization set

The “Rave” Hideout customization set is now available in the Expansion Hub. It features an underground club aesthetic and includes wall, floor, and ceiling decorations.

Changes

  • Added an indicator for tasks for which an item can currently be handed over;
  • Added the ability to view the profile of and report a PMC or player Scav from the list of killed players after a raid;
  • Increased the area that must be hit to shoot off the lock on a container or door;
  • Added the “Can’t Drink Away Skill” task, which rewards the Loui Peeton wallet. The task becomes available after completing “Is This a Reference?”;
  • Added an Icebreaker Model Kit item to the rewards for the “Part of the Ship, Part of the Crew” achievement, along with a crafting recipe using this item;
  • Adjusted the attitude of Rogues toward USEC characters.

Balance changes

  • Adjusted the XP multiplier awarded for transitions. It will now increase more gradually, starting at a lower value than before for 1-2 transitions and reaching the previous values at 16 or more transitions;
  • Reduced the XP gained for eliminating Wedge, his squad, and Black Division operatives on Icebreaker;
  • Reduced the XP gained for eliminating Shadow of Tagilla, Vengeful Killa, and Scavs in The Labyrinth;
  • Reduced the purchase price of euros and dollars from traders;
  • Changed the sale price of the HK MP5 at Mechanic and Peacekeeper Loyalty Level 2;
  • Removed armor from the following face masks:
    • Glorious E mask;
    • Shattered mask;
    • DevTac Samurai Menpo Mask;
    • DevTac Samurai Menpo Mask (White);
    • Death Shadow mask;
    • Death Shadow mask (Gray).

Fixes

  • Fixed an issue that caused saved weapon presets to disappear after a raid;
  • Fixed issues with empty keybind entries in the controls settings for some players;
  • Fixed an issue where, with the Fresh Wound effect active and the Dr. Jekyll modifier selected, bleeding effects would open too frequently;
  • Excessive shading in the visuals at the Labs location and certain other locations has been fixed;

  • Made various UI/UX fixes and improvements to the character selection and gesture screens, magazine preset loading, and the main menu while in a raid;
  • Fixed some issues that could cause the game to crash while loading into a raid;
