Rebel Wolves Is Looking for a Lead Writer for the Next Dawnwalker Chapter
Jakub Szamalek wants the new hire to work with him and Rebel Wolves' narrative team after The Blood of Dawnwalker passed 1 million copies worldwide.

Rebel Wolves is looking for a Lead Writer to help craft the next chapter in The Blood of Dawnwalker saga. Narrative director Jakub Szamalek shared the opening in a LinkedIn post, saying he wants the new hire to work with him and the narrative team on what comes next.
The hiring move follows the studio’s debut RPG passing more than 1 million copies worldwide in three days. The Blood of Dawnwalker launched on PC on Sept. 2 and on consoles on Sept. 3, 2026, with the sales result covered in the game’s sales milestone report.
The first game leaves a possible path forward
Szamalek’s post did not reveal a title, release window, platforms, or further details about the next chapter. Rebel Wolves has plenty of room to decide where the saga goes, even if the first game already leaves one possible thread behind.
The ending of The Blood of Dawnwalker includes a modern-day scene in which Coen of Laslea is alive hundreds of years after the first game’s events and fights a powerful vampiric being. Rebel Wolves previously used that scene in a trailer, so it does not confirm the plot of the next chapter, but it gives the studio a story thread it could revisit.
The new writer search is the clearest detail available for now. Rebel Wolves has not announced when the next chapter will arrive or whether it will continue Coen’s story directly.
