Sunkenland v0.9.40 Aims to Cut Startup Time and Fix Companion Bugs
The ship-mounted autocannon gets a machine-gun-style crosshair and support for zoomed-in aiming.

Sunkenland’s v0.9.40 changelog targets faster startup and lower memory use, while addressing companion behavior, cave collisions, and other gameplay issues. It also details revised aiming for the ship-mounted autocannon in the Steam update notes.
Several fixes focus on companions, including cases where recruits hurt players, stutter while searching for a gathering target, or remain standing after dying on a boat. The changes follow v0.9.30, which added tactical-map orders for companions to reach selected locations, boats, and aircraft.
