Albion Online’s first Tier 8.4 Dragon Sanctuary clear took place Oct. 31, after two months of groups testing builds and learning Azaryon’s fight. Sandbox Interactive confirmed the achievement in its Steam announcement.

The 19-player party was one short of the Sanctuary’s 20-player limit. The announcement credited Icey, Swesda, GreyAG, DasOrakel, LagLife, Flabala, Avus, Virazz, H0neyBadg3r, ZeroTimes, Hammercreator, Moonshadow0908, Snowbunny03, Arhythmia, Taischer96, Krajda, SweetandSpicy, LForward, and Duch124. Many represented KnightsOfCamelot.

Dragonfire’s Spirit Waystones range from Tier 6 to Tier 8.4, and their tier determines the Sanctuary they open. The Dragonfire update also made victories against Azaryon a chance to earn a Fire Drake Egg, which can be raised into a Firewing Drake.

An earlier Sanctuary first came in September, when Regaro’s party secured the world-first Azaryon kill and set its sights on a Tier 8.4 run.
