Sunkenland v0.8.50 Targets Dedicated Server Quest Bugs and Frame Drops

The update also fixes dialogue progression, boat movement, suppressors, Auto Turrets, and resource categories on the final islands.

Sunkenland update v0.8.50 focuses on quest data problems affecting Dedicated Servers, along with several progression blockers and combat-system bugs. Vector3 Studio detailed the changes in a Steam announcement.

Dedicated Server fixes lead the changelog. Quest data should load correctly alongside blueprints and other saved information, while worlds created in the official version should keep their quest progress consistent when played on a Dedicated Server. The update also addresses dialogue and rescue-related issues that could stop quests from advancing.

Several pieces of equipment and ship hardware received corrections as well. The High-Power Boat Boiler will no longer force a boat into neutral at high speeds, Auto Turrets should respect their line of sight, and Suppressors will apply their effects after installation. A performance fix also targets severe frame drops when interacting with objects such as grills, planters, and furnaces.

The patch follows v0.8.47’s achievement and map fixes, continuing the recent run of focused corrections for Sunkenland’s survival progression and world systems.
