Squad 10.6.3 Restores HABs to Pre-10.6 Behavior
The hotfix also fixes a rangefinder display issue in Jensen's Range, a dragged-player crash, and map changes for empty servers via RCON.

Squad Hotfix 10.6.3 restores HABs to their pre-10.6 behavior, removing the ammo crate that had been attached automatically during construction. The change reverses a system introduced in Update 10.6, which was meant to help Squad Leaders and newer players but disrupted movement around HABs.
Offworld had signaled the reversal in Hotfix 10.6.2, which added stakes to HAB blueprints to mark where the crate would appear while the team prepared to back out the broader change, as covered in Squad 10.6.2’s HAB changes.
The new hotfix also corrects vehicle laser rangefinder distance numbers in Jensen’s Range and fixes a client crash that could occur when a dead player respawned while still being dragged. Server admins can now use RCON to change the map on an empty server, including one that has just booted. Offworld says it will revisit the HAB design and test revised ideas with the community, but has not set a timeline, according to its Squad Hotfix 10.6.3 release notes.
