SAND: Raiders of Sophie Update #11 Adds a Recruitment Office and EMP Weapons
The patch also adds POI Archipelago, a Take All action, a gamepad control beta, and the game's soundtrack on music streaming services.

SAND: Raiders of Sophie Update #11 is available now, giving crews a new way to find teammates, more tools for dealing with machines, and another point of interest to search. Hologryph and tinyBuild detailed the changes in the Update #11 Steam announcement.
The recruitment office is the most direct addition for players who do not want to enter an expedition alone. It lets you find teammates for your own expedition or join someone else’s, with tags available for recruitment ads to make the search easier. The office is found beneath the player list in the team menu, represented by blue buttons.
New tools and places to search
Update #11 adds the EMP Grenade and EMP Rocket, along with the V1 Repair Patch and Advanced Repair Kit Fuel. The V1 Repair Patch instantly fixes damaged patches and pipes, while the advanced fuel repairs compartments faster. All four items currently come from Suspicious Piles of Sand.
POI Archipelago is now part of the world generation and can be spotted on the map. It does not have a name in the same way the islands do. Terrain generation has also received small changes that should make the landscape a little less predictable from one expedition to the next.
Looting has a quicker option as well. Pressing F while opening a box now takes all of its contents. Rum cars have loot in their trunks, one-use stationary medkits are available on islands and forts, and greener climbable vines have been added to some locations as an alternative to ladders.
Controller users are receiving a beta control rework with new button mappings and options for reload behavior and long-action timing. The update also warns that keyboard and controller settings might reset after installation. Players may see freezes or frame-rate drops during roughly the first 20 minutes of a match while shaders compile, with improvements planned for future updates.
The SAND soundtrack is also available through music streaming services, giving the game’s Austro-Hungarian-inspired audio a place outside the expeditions.
