Borderlands 4 Version 1.10 Went Live With Loveless and a 10-Level Cap Increase
The September 10 update also brings Providence, Bounty Pack 5, new loot, Vault Card 5 rewards, and balance changes for the existing Vault Hunters.

Borderlands 4 Version 1.10 went live on September 10, adding the playable Loveless the Hacker, Story Pack 2, Bounty Pack 5, and a 10-level increase to the maximum level. The Steam patch notes also cover balance changes, new loot, cross-platform save improvements, and a long list of fixes. The full changelog follows the September 10 launch of Loveless, Story Pack 2, and Bounty Pack 5, which announced the September 10 launch of Loveless, Story Pack 2, and Bounty Pack 5.
The update fulfills the previously announced September 10 lineup. Story Pack 2 and Loveless are included with the Borderlands 4 Super Deluxe Edition and Vault Hunter Pack, while Bounty Pack 5 is included with the Bounty Pack Bundle, Deluxe Edition, and Super Deluxe Edition. Each part is also available separately, with the base game required.
Version 1.10 adds Providence and 3 new content paths
Loveless the Hacker is now playable through paid DLC. Her kit pairs Critical Hits and Status Effects with the RAM resource, which can strengthen gun damage or empower her melee attack. She also uses Corrosive and Radiation damage, a stealth clone, and a digital Wyrm that fights alongside her.
Story Pack 2 sends Vault Hunters to Providence, a jungle island where Tediore’s invasion force is searching for Ordonite. The paid story content includes new missions, activities, collectibles, 8 story bosses, 13 minibosses, 2 Pearlescent weapons, 18 Legendary gear pieces, 6 Legendary Class Mods, and new cosmetics. The content is recommended for level 13 or higher and requires completion of the A Lot to Process mission in the Fadefields before the Providence mission can begin.
Bounty Pack 5 adds a repeatable mission centered on Amara and unstable Phase anomalies. Players can fight a new boss, 2 minibosses, and new Vile enemies for 1 Pearlescent weapon and 6 Legendary items. Vault Card 5 adds 24 cosmetic items and 4 rerollable pieces of Legendary gear, with progression earned through regular play and no time limit on its rewards.
Beyond the paid content, Version 1.10 strengthens several existing Vault Hunters. Amon, Harlowe, Rafa, and Vex all receive damage, cooldown, or skill improvements, while the update also addresses gear behavior, menus, Vault Cards, cross-platform saves, performance, and stability.

New Content
New Vault Hunter: Loveless the Hacker*
Loveless the Hacker, an all-new Vault Hunter, is now available as paid DLC. To play as Loveless in Borderlands 4, you must own the Loveless the Hacker DLC. Loveless the Hacker is included with Borderlands 4 Super Deluxe Edition and the Borderlands 4 Vault Hunter Pack, and is also available for separate purchase.
- Functions: Tap Action Skill an additional time to activate. Typically very low cooldown and fast bursts of power.
- Executables: Press and hold Action Skill to activate. These have longer cooldowns with huge payoffs.
Loveless the Hacker’s Trait
- RAM: When Loveless inflicts a Critical Hit or applies a Status Effect she gains RAM. When RAM is filled, her Melee Attack will be Empowered, gaining increased Damage Dealt, but consuming all RAM. RAM is lost over time when none has been gained recently. The more filled RAM is, Loveless gains increased Gun Damage.
Loveless the Hacker’s Action Skills
- Plague Star (Virology skill tree): Loveless digistructs a massive Shuriken into her hand and throws it at her target, Piercing enemies, dealing Corrosive Action Skill Damage, and inflicting enemies with Contagion, which deals Corrosive Status Effect Damage over time for a duration. If an enemy suffering from Contagion dies, the virus seeks new hosts and inflicts them with a portion of the Contagion Stacks that the original enemy had.
- Executable: Press and hold this Action Skill to detonate all Contagions, consuming them and dealing Corrosive Action Skill Damage in an area.
- Visual Paradox Nexus (Hack / Slash skill tree): Loveless activates her Visual Paradox Nexus for a duration, increasing Movement Speed and Critical Hit Damage. Killing an enemy while Visual Paradox Nexus is active causes Loveless to enter Stealth for a brief duration and creates a Clone at the location of the killed enemy. Only one Clone can exist at a time.
- Function: Pressing Action Skill again will send out a Slash with a Kusarigama, creating a wave of Radiation Melee Damage. If Loveless is in Stealth, the Kusarigama attack will Critically Hit and end Stealth.
- Malignant Construct (Manifestation skill tree): Press Action Skill to Summon a digital Wyrm to fight by Loveless’ side. When Loveless summons Wyrm, she gains Symbiosis Stacks, allowing her to benefit from Symbiosis Effects. Symbiosis Stacks deplete over time. Loveless gains Symbiosis when Wyrm kills an enemy or by using certain Passives.
- Function: Press Action Skill while Wyrm is out to order them to Teleport towards an enemy, dealing Radiation Damage in an area around them.
- Executable: Press and hold Action Skill while Wyrm is out to order them to use a powerful Breath Attack on an enemy, dealing Radiation Melee Damage.
