Borderlands 4 will bring Loveless, Story Pack 2, and Bounty Pack 5 on September 10

The September 3 Gearbox DevCast will show Loveless in action, while Version 1.10 will raise the level cap by 10 for all players on September 10.

Borderlands 4 will receive its next major content release on September 10, when Version 1.10 brings Story Pack 2, Bounty Pack 5, and the new Vault Hunter Loveless the Hacker. The update will also raise the maximum level cap by 10 levels for every player.

In its latest Steam announcement, the Borderlands Community Team also pointed players toward the August 27 Weekly Activities through the Borderlands 4 update notes. PC players looking for technical help were reminded to include a DxDiag or MSinfo file with support tickets, with a ticket submission guide and a file attachment walkthrough available as well.

What Version 1.10 will add on September 10

The September 10 lineup contains three named releases, although Story Pack 2 and Bounty Pack 5 are each divided into separate purchasable parts. The announced prices are as follows:

  • Story Pack 2: FL4K and the Last Resort will cost $19.99 USD. It includes new missions, activities, loot, and the Providence region.
  • Loveless the Hacker will cost $9.99 USD and adds the new playable Vault Hunter.
  • Bounty Pack 5: Amara and the Vile Shadows will cost $5.99 USD and includes new narrative content and gear.
  • Bounty Pack 5: Vault Card 5 will cost $5.99 USD, with cosmetics and gear unlocked through gameplay.

Regional prices will appear on each player’s preferred storefront when the content launches. Story Pack 2, including Loveless, is included with the Borderlands 4 Super Deluxe Edition and Vault Hunter Pack. Bounty Pack 5 is included with the Bounty Pack Bundle, Deluxe Edition, and Super Deluxe Edition. The base game is required for each separate purchase.

Version 1.10 follows the update that introduced Bounty Pack 4 and Vault Card 4, which we covered in our Version 1.9 coverage. Players will also be able to purchase Story Pack 1: Mad Ellie and the Vault of the Damned and Bounty Pack 2: Legend of the Stone Demon in separate parts starting September 10. Those packages include C4SH the Rogue and Vault Card 2, respectively.

Loveless gameplay reveal is scheduled for September 3

Loveless the Hacker will get a dedicated Gearbox DevCast episode on September 3 at 9 a.m. PT. The episode will reveal the symbiotic assassin in action and will be available through the DevCast YouTube playlist or the show’s Spotify page.

That reveal will lead into the September 10 content launch, giving players a closer look at the Vault Hunter before Story Pack 2 and Bounty Pack 5 become available.

Gearbox DevCast covers Story Pack 2 and Bounty Pack 5

A separate Gearbox DevCast episode covers the story and systems arriving with the new DLC. Hosts Andrew Reiner and April Johnson spoke with Associate Art Director Max Davenport and Associate Art Director Chris Neeley about Story Pack 2, Providence, Loveless, and Bounty Pack 5.

Dead ECHOs reaches Episode 6

The weekly roundup also confirmed that Borderlands: Dead ECHOs Episode 6 is available now. Gearbox’s scripted narrative podcast follows Watts, a DAHL ECHO Operator who sells secrets from undeliverable ECHO logs, and Junie, the stranger who becomes his partner in the risky business. Their actions draw the attention of mercenaries, outlaws, and Vivian Proctor’s DAHL hit squad.

Episode 6 continues the darkly comedic story and is available through YouTube, Spotify, Amazon, Apple Podcasts, iHeart Radio, and Pandora.

The Kairos roundup closes with community photography from JaySavesL1ves and fan creations from Karpachev and bing-tuna. Between the new DLC, a fresh Vault Hunter, and another podcast episode, there is plenty of Borderlands activity planned for the weeks ahead.
