ARC Raiders Update 1.45.0 Sets Cred to Expire on October 8
The live update also starts Expedition 5, adds the Ascending the Mountain Raider Project, and moves the game to Unreal Engine 5.7.

ARC Raiders Live Update 1.45.0 is live, and its most important deadline is tied to a currency rather than a bug fix. Cred will remain usable until October 8, 2026, when the Frozen Trail update arrives, and any balance left then will expire.
Players should restart the game to download the update. Embark’s Steam announcement also confirms that this will be the final Live Update before October 8, although a smaller update is still planned before that date.
Cred is being retired as a currency ahead of a broader reward system arriving with Frozen Trail. Existing Raider Deck rewards will carry over to the new system, and anything already claimed will remain with players. Any unspent Cred must be used with Shani or on remaining Raider Deck rewards before the deadline.
Beyond that currency change, Update 1.45.0 starts Expedition 5 and the Ascending the Mountain Raider Project, adds the Hornet Hunter Set, and brings the community-designed rubber ducks to Bird City. The gameplay changes include separate keybinds for quick item cycling and the quick-use wheel, a new severe over-encumbrance tier, an option to keep quests when starting an Expedition, and reduced Aphelion weapon sway.

The patch also fixes a PS5 crash, addresses squad matchmaking lockups, and upgrades Unreal Engine from 5.3 to 5.7. Several issues remain under investigation, including PC crashes linked to Windows Update KB5121003, Xbox Series S crashes, and lost keyboard input on Epic.
Patch Notes for ARC Raiders Live Update 1.45.0
The largest player-facing changes involve Cred’s October 8 expiration, Expedition settings, movement while landing on moving surfaces, inventory weight penalties, and clearer matchmaking feedback. The complete notes also include new community content, combat adjustments, stability fixes, and the current known issues.

Forging the Way North
Raider efforts have revealed clues to the mystery of phantom ARC signals that have Shani concerned. Unfortunately, these signals lead ARC to a place we can’t follow, the mountain range just beyond the reach of our Tube system. Rumor has it Apollo’s working on an experimental solution, and he’s requested assistance from Raiders who understand schematics, and can keep their heads down.
Cred Expiration
As we look ahead to Frozen Trail and a rework to Raider Decks, we’ll be making changes to the Cred currency. It will remain usable until October 8, so be sure to use any remaining Cred before then.
We are retiring Cred as a currency, as we’ll be introducing a more expansive reward system launching with the Frozen Trail Update. All existing Raider Deck rewards will also be available in the new system. You will keep any rewards you have already claimed at the time of the update.
Any Cred remaining on your account will expire with the Frozen Trail update, so please be sure to spend your Cred with Shani or on any remaining Raider Deck rewards.
Community Rubber Ducks
The community designed duckies that you have selected have finally made their way into the game! Head on over to Bird City and display them proudly in your Raider Den!
Again, huge congratulations to the designers: gekko.rar, im_AshCheeks and nassguhl!
