The Ruins of Lordaeron dungeon entrance is in the ruined city above the Undercity. You want the surface courtyard and its stairs, not the elevators down to the Forsaken capital.
Location at a Glance
- Zone: Undercity
- Level guidance: 15-20
- Version: World of Warcraft: Forever
How to Reach the Entrance
- Travel to the ruined city's front gate south of Brill in Tirisfal Glades.
- Walk through the gate and look left before continuing into the central keep. Take the short stairs towards the dungeon entrance.
- Find the portal around 72.4, 11.6 on the Undercity map. Those are city-map coordinates, not coordinates for the wider Tirisfal Glades zone.
Alliance and Horde Travel
Horde players have a short approach from the Undercity or Brill. Alliance groups can come from Southshore through Hillsbrad and Silverpine before entering Tirisfal, but should treat the trip as a journey through Horde territory rather than a safe city visit.
Before You Go
Do not take the elevators into the underground city when looking for the instance. Likewise, a marker placed at 72.4, 11.6 on a Tirisfal map will send you away from the ruined capital. Open the Undercity map for the close approach.
Both factions can run the dungeon. Alliance quest opportunities are available inside, while Horde characters also have errands to collect in their surrounding settlements. Compare quest logs before the group starts clearing the first streets.
