Ragefire Chasm is underneath Orgrimmar, on the lowest level of the Cleft of Shadow. Getting to the right district is only half the route, since the dungeon door is down in the cavern rather than on the streets above it.

How to Reach the Entrance
- Enter Orgrimmar and head for the Cleft of Shadow in the middle of the city.
- Take the descending passage into the cavern. Stay on the lower paths instead of following a ramp back towards the surface.
- Look for the instance entrance around 52.8, 49.6 on the Orgrimmar map, then gather the group before crossing the portal.
Alliance and Horde Travel
Horde characters can approach from the city itself, making this a convenient early group trip. Alliance characters have to cross a hostile capital to get here. Unless your group specifically wants that journey, an Alliance-side dungeon is a much more straightforward choice.
Before You Go
Use the Orgrimmar map for the coordinates, not Durotar. The Cleft has paths at different heights, so standing over the marker does not necessarily put you beside the portal.
Collect your Orgrimmar dungeon quests before going down. Once everyone reaches the cavern, stop together at the entrance rather than leaving a lower-level party member to find the last stretch alone.
