S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl Patch 2.0.3 Addresses a Crash at Launch

The small patch also brings approved Steam Items online, while GSC Game World warns that mods may not work properly after Back to the Zone.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl Patch 2.0.3 is available now, and its only listed fix targets a crash that could affect some players while launching the game.

Coming after the Back to the Zone release, the patch follows Patch 2.0.2, which addressed missing NPCs and bodies. The new build keeps its scope tight, with no other gameplay changes listed alongside the crash correction.

The Steam announcement for Patch 2.0.3 also confirms that Steam Items have been approved and are going live. Those items arrive alongside the launch-crash fix rather than as part of a larger content update.

Mods remain a possible source of trouble after Back to the Zone. GSC Game World recommends disabling modifications if performance or stability issues appear following that release.
