Nexon’s latest The First Descendant crackdown covered June 26 through July 2 PDT and ended with 326 users penalized. Most of that total came from unusual gameplay activity, which led to 317 players receiving a 3-day separate matchmaking penalty.
Another 4 accounts were permanently banned for creating, distributing, or using unauthorized programs. Nexon also handed out 4 permanent bans for exploitation tied to Open Store payment processes, while one more user received a 7-day trading restriction after abnormal transaction records were detected.
The week-to-week tally has stayed busy, with a June 12-18 sweep that hit 358 users. Nexon said the enforcement was based on player reports and internal monitoring, and it again urged Descendants to use the in-game report feature when they spot suspicious behavior.
Players who want to contest an Open Store payment-related punishment should contact customer service through the official website, while chargeback disputes should go through the platform store used for the payment.
