SCS Software has shared another look at the Isle of Ireland DLC for Euro Truck Simulator 2, and this time the focus is the N59 and the Connemara Loop. The route is meant to carry drivers through Ireland’s western side, with lake views, mountain roads, and a run of landmarks that should give the expansion some real personality.

The studio says the N59 is Ireland’s longest national secondary road, running for more than 290 kilometers between Sligo and Galway. In game terms, that turns into a route built around winding lanes, small villages, rolling hills, and stretches of Atlantic scenery rather than a clean, straight haul.
The Connemara Loop brings even more of the region into view. SCS Software says drivers will pass Pine Island near Derryclare Lough, Kylemore Abbey, Killary Harbour, and Croagh Patrick, while Westport and the Wild Nephin National Park area also appear along the way. Smaller settlements around Sligo round out the route.

That mix of major sights and quieter roads is what gives this teaser its appeal. The screenshots suggest SCS Software is aiming for a west coast that feels lived in, not just scenic from a distance, with enough variety to make a long drive feel worth the trip.
The developer also says players can wishlist the map expansion on Steam while more of the DLC is still in the works.
