Euro Truck Simulator 2 Brings Back Brackenreach With a 1.3 Million Delivery Goal

SCS Software has brought its Return to Brackenreach Halloween event back to Euro Truck Simulator 2 and American Truck Simulator, with drivers working toward a shared goal of 1.3 million deliveries. The event runs through Nov. 1 at 23:59 UTC, according to the Steam announcement.

The event follows SCS Software’s September plan for Halloween and Christmas events to return later in 2026 as World of Trucks community activities resumed.

To contribute to the community total, players need a World of Trucks-connected profile and must take Halloween cargo through External Contracts in either game or both. Deliveries to or from any city count, including Castle Brackenhelm in Brackenreach. The four cargo types are Halloween Treats, Halloween Costumes, Halloween Herbs & Spices, and Halloween Crafts.

Individual rewards require 15 Halloween deliveries, including at least 3 to and 3 from Castle Brackenhelm. A separate discovery task asks players to drive to the Witches’ House, hidden in Brackenreach.

Completing the personal challenge earns a World of Trucks Achievement and the Wisp Lantern cabin item. Reaching the community target while also meeting the personal goal unlocks the Key to Brackenreach hanging cabin item. Finding the Witches’ House grants the Ember Grimoire cabin item and last year’s Spooky Horn vehicle accessory.

All rewards are Steam inventory items for both games, and players can claim them through the World of Trucks Events page. A portal appears after accepting event cargo bound for Castle Brackenhelm. It is marked by a spiral on the map, with sparkles and falling autumn leaves nearby. Leaving Brackenreach with cargo sends the truck to its destination, while exiting without cargo sends the driver to a random city for a new job.

SCS also has a developer livestream scheduled for Monday, Oct. 19, at 18:00 CEST. The session will cover how the event was designed and include gameplay that contributes to the community goal.
