SCS Software is still building Euro Truck Simulator 2’s Soul of Anatolia DLC, and a July 29 Steam announcement offered a closer look at the buildings being prepared for the upcoming map expansion. The studio has not started showing specific locations yet because the map remains in development, but it has shared several of the 3D models that will help give the region its visual identity.
The announcement showed the assets in a temporary placeholder setting rather than a finished in-game location. That means the preview focuses on the models themselves, including apartment blocks, city buildings, and smaller rural homes.

SCS Software said its research team is working closely with the map and assets teams to reflect the architecture and character of western Türkiye. Different cities will use their own mix of buildings, with the developers creating everything from newer urban structures and older apartment buildings to houses found in rural areas.

The asset work will continue throughout development, so the models shown in the announcement represent only part of what the finished expansion will contain. SCS Software plans to produce around 300 new generic assets for the map, in addition to landmark assets designed for larger and more recognizable buildings.
Those landmarks will appear in future development updates, while the generic models will help fill out towns, cities, and other areas across the expansion. The variety already shown suggests that Soul of Anatolia will use more than one architectural style as drivers move between urban and rural parts of the region.
The full preview and the latest details about the DLC are available in the official Steam announcement. SCS Software has not provided a release date for Soul of Anatolia in the material shared here.
