Ubisoft seems to be generous by giving away some copies. It’s not just a free period of time to play we’re talking about here. Instead, it’s an all-time claim process. The very first Watch Dogs series is available to claim as yours through Uplay.
Those who claim the game during the event is being available will have a permanent copy of Watch Dogs on their account. Nice job from the side of Ubisoft, however, they should kind of fix the servers before they announce something like this.
Their official Ubisoft servers seem to be down for quite some time now, so Uplay users are not available to get their free Watch Dogs copy. However, if you’re that eager to get a copy of the game, do not forget to try again later, as you never know, it is Ubisoft and they might disable the free period to claim the game as yours.
Ubisoft has been giving away permanent game copies of older Game Titles in the past.
