War Thunder’s German Unity Day event pairs a decal trophy with 3 discounted vehicles

Two store bundles are 50% off, while the limited-time task requires 3,000 mission points with German vehicles at Rank III or higher.

War Thunder’s German Unity Day event is underway through October 5 at 11:00 GMT, with 50% off 2 bundles, 3 limited-time vehicles at 30% off, and a trophy that awards one of 4 decals.

Germany marks reunification on October 3, the anniversary of the GDR and FRG becoming one country in 1990. Gaijin outlined the event and its rewards in a Steam announcement.

Two bundles are half price

The “Many Strengths – One Country” bundle costs 37.49 instead of 74.97. It includes the Z-20 Karl Galster Pack, Scout Pack, and Bf 109Z Zwilling Pack. The “German Unity Day 2026” bundle is 59.99, down from 120, and contains the Alpha Jet A Pack and Leopard Pack.

Both offers are in the Gaijin.Net store. Steam players can open it from the in-game hangar by selecting Shop, then Online Store.

Three vehicles are temporarily available for Golden Eagles

Each of these vehicles is 30% off for the event:

  • Pz.Sfl.Ic, Rank II, 700 Golden Eagles: This experimental World War II light tank uses a VK 9.01 chassis and a two-person turret with a 50 mm Pak 38 cannon. It must come to a complete stop to fire accurately, but the Pz.Sfl.Ic’s high mobility gives it room to reposition.
  • Bf 109 Z-1, Rank IV, 2,086 Golden Eagles: The experimental fighter’s twin-fuselage design carries four 30 mm MK 108 cannons. Landing hits takes practice, and its firepower is best suited to larger, slower targets such as bombers, particularly at high altitude, where the plane can reach high speeds. The Bf 109 Z-1 is one of the more unusual aircraft in the offer.
  • Z20 Karl Galster, Rank III, 3,416 Golden Eagles: The World War II destroyer has five 128 mm main guns, six 37 mm Flak M42 mounts, thirteen 20 mm autocannons for air defense, and eight 533 mm torpedoes. Its late-war configuration gives it a broad mix of weapons.

Earn 3,000 mission points for a decal

From October 2 at 11:00 GMT through October 5 at 11:00 GMT, earn 3,000 mission points in battles using German vehicles at Rank III or higher to receive the “German Unity Day” trophy. It contains one of four decals: two designs named “German Unity Day,” plus “German Unity” and “German Unity Day 2024.” The decals appear in the Holidays section of the customization menu.

If you already own all four decals, the trophy instead gives one of these rewards: a 20-50% Research Point booster for 3-10 battles, a 20-50% Silver Lion booster for 3-10 battles, 3-5 universal backups, or 1 day of Premium account time. The task counts in random battles except Assault, and you must collect the reward manually. Track progress in the hangar under Nickname > Achievements > Holidays > German Unity Day.
