Team Warning Claims the WTCS Challenger League Major II Crown

The winning squad finished with 139 points, while Papol1 earned MVP honors ahead of teammates Doom_53 and ENP's HollyKNN.

Team Warning finished on top at the WTCS Challenger League Major II, the second major event of the 2026 War Thunder Championships Series Challenger League. The result came after the tournament weekend of July 11–12 and gave the squad 139 points in the standings.

Gaijin Entertainment confirmed the result in its official War Thunder announcement. COVERT took second place with 101 points, while NEXUS completed the podium at 84 points.

Team Warning Leads the Standings

The Major II result puts Team Warning at the front of the Challenger League race. COVERT and NEXUS remain close behind, while ENP and SkyHammer are still within range of the leading group as the season moves toward its next stage.

Team Warning also took the top two spots in the MVP voting. Papol1 was named the tournament’s most valuable player after a series of key plays and consistent performances. Teammate Doom_53 placed second, and HollyKNN of ENP finished third.

Pro League Major III Schedule

The next major stage listed for the 2026 season is the WTCS Pro League Major III. Four teams will advance from each Open Qualifier to the Playoff stage, with the following dates scheduled:

  • Open Qualifier I: August 22–23
  • Open Qualifier II: August 29–30
  • Playoffs: September 5–6 and September 12–13

Gaijin’s 2026 Championship Series plans include the full breakdown of the competitive format. Fans who followed the Major II broadcasts could also collect rewards through the event’s Twitch Drops program, including a 50% RP Booster, a 50% SL Booster, and one day of Premium.
