War Thunder has put together another Steam Community Spotlight, and the 15th edition is all about player-made art, scale models, and custom builds pulled from the Steam Community Hub. The selection leans hard into the kind of hobby work that makes these roundups worth opening in the first place.
Among the standouts are Trahenwaffen’s pencil drawing of a Mi-24, masterbaconman’s brick-built Leopard 2A7V, Sekon’s 1:35 IS-2, Maximus_Trak’s Tiger E recreation, and sceeby dee & co’s motorized ZTZ-99A. The lineup also includes a Jagdpanther diorama, a crochet Tiger H1, a 3D-printed War Thunder spacebar, and a few more aircraft and armor pieces that show just how far players take the game off-screen.
The team also pointed out a small extra for selected creators, the special Steam Snail decal. Players can find it under Customization > Special > Snails > “Steam Snail,” and the post even reminds model builders to show the same vehicle in the game behind their real-world build when they can.
This one is a neat snapshot of how much effort War Thunder players put into their work beyond the battlefield. Share your thoughts in the comments, and follow us on X, Bluesky, YouTube, Instagram.
