War Thunder Will Move Several Israeli Ground Vehicles in Its Next Major Update

Affected vehicles will receive a special in-game icon, giving players time to plan their research before the rearrangement goes live.

Gaijin Entertainment will rearrange several armored vehicles in War Thunder’s Israeli ground vehicle research tree when the game’s next major update arrives. The changes are intended to improve how the tree is organized, according to the developer.

Players who are currently researching Israeli ground vehicles have been given advance notice so they can plan their progress around the upcoming layout. The announcement does not provide a specific release date for the major update, so the reshuffle remains scheduled for a later update rather than being live now.

In its Steam announcement, Gaijin said vehicles affected by the move will carry a special icon in the game. That marker should make it easier to identify which research-tree entries are part of the change before committing to a route.

Comparison of the Israeli ground vehicle research tree before and after the planned rearrangement

The before-and-after comparison shows the planned arrangement across the upper ranks of Israel’s ground vehicle tree. The research paths will look different once the update goes live, but the notice does not describe any changes to vehicle performance, battle ratings, or gameplay mechanics.

For now, the main takeaway is planning: players working through Israel’s ground lineup can continue researching, while keeping the marked vehicles in mind ahead of the new structure.
