STALCRAFT: X players told to sell Gamma now ahead of price cut tomorrow

STALCRAFT: X issued a blunt Steam warning telling players to unload Gamma and other data before a rework lands tomorrow that will reduce the selling value of Data Fragments and Data Blocks.

Call it a day, dump your Gamma!

The short note says a rework of activities that generate rubles is expected tomorrow and that, as a result, selling prices for Alpha, Beta, Gamma, and Lambda fragments and data blocks will be reduced. Players who have been stockpiling Gamma should consider selling now while values are still higher. Console PC Gaming already covered the developer’s plans in more detail, including the scope of the reduction and the stated goal of balancing the farming economy, and readers can find that coverage here.

For traders and players who run farming loops, the change means expected sale proceeds will shrink and long runs of the same activity will be less profitable. That can alter what items players prioritize keeping or offloading, and it will affect the in-game marketplace for anyone flipping fragments for quick cash. People should sell nonessential Gamma and other fragments if you need rubles, spend conservatively with traders, and avoid hoarding large stacks that will lose value after the update.

Leave a comment with what you plan to sell and follow us on X, Bluesky, and YouTube for more STALCRAFT: X updates.
