STALCRAFT: X Players Need to Spend Cartridges and Pops’ Coins Before September 2

The Anticyclone season will end on September 2, but some case rewards and progression items will carry into the next season.

STALCRAFT: X‘s Anticyclone season will end on September 2, taking several seasonal currencies, shops, and event rewards with it. Players should spend their Cartridges and Pops’ Coins before the deadline.

The timing and carryover rules were confirmed in a Steam announcement. Most of the changes happen when the season ends, although players in the NEA region get extra time with one temporary event.

What will leave on September 2

  • Cartridges, the season currency, will be removed.
  • The Triumphs Shop and Pops’ Coins will no longer be available.
  • The temporary The Zone: There and Back event and its Explorer coins will end. In the NEA region, the event will continue until September 30.

Any accumulated chances for the Special Case will also disappear instead of carrying over. Special Case tokens will remain available for use in the next season, so players with unused chances should spend them before the Anticyclone season closes.

What will carry into the next season

  • Special Case tokens will remain.
  • Accumulated chances for the Advanced Case will carry over.
  • Overdrives, whether activated or not, will carry over.
  • Unused Season Passes items will carry over.

That leaves a simple end-of-season checklist: use Cartridges and Pops’ Coins, spend any Special Case chances, and hold onto the items that will remain useful after September 2.
