Rebel Wolves has pulled back the curtain on their latest project, The Blood of Dawnwalker, an open world single-player RPG promises to deliver a fresh narrative experience, and I can’t help but feel a rush thinking about where this journey might take us.
At the helm of Rebel Wolves is Konrad Tomaszkiewicz, known for his work on The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. You can spot some familiar vibes in the new trailer, which gives off a sense of nostalgia for fans of that beloved series.
The story centers around Coen who is a young man transformed into a Dawnwalker. He must harness vampiric strength and human determination to save loved ones while confronting various foes. I’m genuinely curious how the interplay between these two worlds will unfold throughout the game.
But remember – the real evil may bask in the sun’s light, and the most loyal of allies could lurk under the cover of night.
The combat looks quite intense, as the trailer features some brutal encounters where enemies meet gruesome fates at the hands, or claws, of powerful vampires. Plenty of bloodshed and emotional stakes are involved, alongside glimpses of what appears to be a vast and open world filled with possibilities.

The Blood of Dawnwalker is on its way to PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. While there’s no release date just yet, we can look forward to a full gameplay reveal expected this summer, maybe even at Summer Games Fest. That could be something to keep an eye out for!
