GTA 5 Enhanced Mods Add Brutal Dismemberment and Red Dead-Style Dead Eye

Teamhimes' two PC mods let players sever limbs, slow time, mark several targets, and fire at them in sequence.

Grand Theft Auto V Enhanced has received two grisly new PC mods from modder Teamhimes. One adds a detailed dismemberment system, while the other brings a Dead Eye-style targeting mechanic inspired by Red Dead Redemption.

The dismemberment mod allows players to blow off heads and limbs, with wound effects fitted to each victim. The severed stump locations are calculated from the character’s skeleton, and dismemberment can happen through several methods. Cars can tear people apart, while knives, machetes, and swords can cut through limbs.

There are some rough edges. Severed heads and limbs vanish immediately instead of remaining in the scene, and a rifle cutting through an entire leg does not always look convincing. Even so, the mod gives GTA 5’s combat a much harsher visual edge.

Teamhimes’ second mod adds a Dead Eye system that slows time almost to a stop. Players can mark several targets before triggering a single attack sequence. The character then turns, aims at each marked target, and fires in order, recreating the cinematic feel of Rockstar’s western series.

Both mods are available through Nexus Mods, with the dismemberment mod page covering the gore system and the Dead Eye mod page covering the slow-motion targeting feature. They can be used together for a more violent single-player setup.

GTA 5 Enhanced has no shortage of large PC modifications. A separate police response overhaul reworks emergency services across Los Santos and Blaine County, offering another way to change how the city reacts to player actions.

Teamhimes also provided a showcase video demonstrating both mods in action.
