World War Z June 27 Patch Notes

Saber Interactive has detailed a new update for World War Z. The update, available today, brings numerous bug fixes and performance enhancements, particularly for the game’s PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S versions.

The patch resolves a significant issue that caused faulty display when AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution was enabled on specific GPUs. Furthermore, it addresses a crash that users face when returning to the main menu from the game. This fix is sure to provide a smoother gaming experience.

  • Resolved an issue with gameplay not displaying as intended on GPUs when AMD FidelityFX™ Super Resolution is enabled.
  • Resolved a crash that occurred when returning to the main menu from the game.
  • Fixed the problem of muted gunfire while the electric fence was active.
  • Fixed the issue with gamertags being displayed as a ‘Nickname.’
  • Updated Heavy Weapon icons to accurately reflect the weapons currently equipped.
  • Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 Lieutenant Titus and Tyranid Trinkets can be obtained again.

PlayStation 5

  • Slight performance improvements.

Xbox Series X | S

  • Slight performance improvements on both Xbox Series X and S.
