MOUZ beat Spirit 13-11 on Nuke to reach the ESL Pro League Season 24 final against Vitality. The final is scheduled for October 11 at 17:00 at the Spodek in Katowice. Aurora and Spirit are listed for 13:30 earlier that day in the closing-day schedule.
In his post-match interview, coach Dennis “sycrone” Nielsen credited xertioN’s composure and quick calls as Spirit repeatedly won retakes. When MOUZ planted the bomb but could not convert the post-plant into a round win, xertioN kept giving simple directions at the start of the next round rather than abandoning the plan. He also made small adjustments to familiar T-side ideas based on what MOUZ believed Spirit had already seen.
Spinx kept taking active ramp timings instead of turning passive after a mistake, and PR also had a strong performance. Against donk, MOUZ tried to disrupt Spirit’s defaults by contesting space and hitting timings the star player usually favors.
The final gives MOUZ a chance to play its full roster against a familiar Vitality opponent from 2025. Sycrone said the team is in a different place now, and that established players including xertioN, torzsi, and Spinx need to support younger teammates PR and xelex as they adjust. He noted that some established players took two or three years, or even five, to reach their current level, while the new players are also expected to come up to speed quickly.
