Mojang Studios rolled out new Minecraft update 1.20.1. The game update was released to rectify a few glitches and improve overall gameplay in Minecraft, focusing on the Nintendo Switch version and fundamental game mechanics such as boats and pressure plates.
The primary issue this update addresses is related to the reliability of unlocking achievements on the Nintendo Switch platform. Minecraft players reported inconsistencies and unreliability when trying to unlock their achievements. This update should make the achievement system more dependable, enabling players to earn their rewards as intended.
While the update has been released across various platforms, Mojang announced that it’s not yet available on the Nintendo Switch but should be rolling out soon. Switch players, thus, will have to wait a little longer to experience the benefits of these fixes.
