The First Descendant Penalizes 514 Users, Including 8 Permanent Bans
Two bans involved unauthorized programs, while six were tied to exploitation of the Open Store payment process.

The First Descendant penalized 514 users during its Oct. 30 through Nov. 5, 2026, PST enforcement period, including 506 separate matchmaking penalties and 8 permanent game bans, according to the game’s Steam enforcement notice.
Uncooperative play accounted for 486 matchmaking penalties, while unusual gameplay activity led to 20 more. Two permanent bans cited the creation, distribution, or use of unauthorized programs. The other six followed unfair gains through exploitation of the Open Store payment process.
The 514-user total was 12 lower than the 526 users penalized in the Oct. 23-29 crackdown. Both periods lasted seven calendar days.
Enforcement was based on player reports and monitoring. Players can flag abnormal or abusive behavior through the in-game reporting feature. Anyone disputing a claim involving Open Store payment-process exploitation can contact Customer Service through the official website’s 1:1 Support option. Chargeback disputes should go to the platform store that handled the payment.
