The First Descendant Will Add Leaderboard Restrictions to Its Fair Play Policy Dec. 9
The new sanction will join the policy's phased-action section at 23:00 PST on Dec. 9, 2026.
The First Descendant’s global restriction policy will add a new sanction type, Leaderboard Restriction, on Dec. 9 at 23:00 PST. Nexon will place it under section [2-1] in “[2] Sanction Types and Principles of Phased Action,” according to the Steam notice.
Nexon introduced the global restriction policy on Oct. 28 to explain what conduct can lead to usage restrictions and how sanctions are applied. The advance notice names the new sanction, but does not specify what conduct could trigger it or how it will affect leaderboard access.
Players can find the policy in game through Top Menu > Customer Service > FAQ > Account, or through the General Restriction Policy link at the bottom of Nexon’s official website.
