The First Descendant Patch 1.3.36 Is Scheduled for July 30

The update is planned for Steam, Xbox, and PS5 at 00:00 PDT, adding new shop products, Serena and Supply Fortress changes, Onslaught improvements, and bug fixes.

The First Descendant Patch 1.3.36 is scheduled to go live on July 30, 2026, at 00:00 PDT. The update is planned for Steam, Xbox, and PS5.

The official Steam announcement initially provided a brief preview of the patch. Nexon’s full patch notes now detail new shop products, content improvements, Descendant changes, and bug fixes. The notice also asks players to reconnect for smoother gameplay.

The schedule may still change before the update arrives, so the listed time should be treated as provisional until the final notice is published.

Patch 1.3.36 Preview

  • New shop products
  • Serena’s Archangel Transcendent Module changes
  • Supply Fortress and Onslaught improvements
  • Bug fixes across Descendants, equipment, missions, monsters, and UI systems

New Shop Products

The patch adds the Black Roger Bundle and three Notorious Challenger Bundles. The shop will also receive Dia’s, Nell’s, Ines’, Luna’s, Freyna’s, and Bunny’s Notorious Challenger Sets, along with the Iron Admiral Set.

New cosmetic items include Black Roger’s Cutlass, Black Roger’s Treasure Chest, the “So Dark! So Scary!” emote, and “Consequences of Greed” as both a UI Theme and a Name Card. These products are scheduled to become available on July 30, 2026, at 00:00 PDT.

Serena and Content Improvements

Serena’s Archangel Transcendent Module will receive an updated tooltip that displays the Critical Hit Rate Increase as the Final Critical Hit Rate Increase. Sacred Strike will use ground-targeted aiming and its Final Critical Hit Rate Increase will rise from 20% to 100%.

The Supply Fortress Trigger Module will also recover Rounds when Barrier-type skills are used, with the amount recovered increasing from 5% to 7%.

Module slots that are locked until a required Mastery Rank is reached will remain visible, with a tooltip showing the required rank. In addition, the Onslaught completion count shown in the intro scene will combine each player’s completions across all Stages.

Bug Fixes

Patch 1.3.36 fixes an issue that caused certain weapon or skill auto-targeting against the Vulgus Drop Pod to select its lower portion, which could cause problems because of terrain elevation differences.

Among the other fixes are missing skill-summary text for Serena’s “Law of the Battlefield” and “Holy Fire” modules, as well as an issue where Blair’s “Extinguish” skill failed to recover HP. Thunder Cage effects will no longer stack in Onslaught.

The update also corrects the Inversion Reinforcement Effect’s “Recovery” category label, inaccurate “Void Axium” and “Axium Mining” mission tooltips in Axion Plains, and Frost Walker behavior that could prevent the boss from facing a Descendant after certain skills.

UI fixes address the Accelerate Research Event timer when one day or less remains, incorrect or missing Bastion of Immortality mission names and icons in the Descendant Mission Board, Albion map, and Library, and Trigger Module Loot J and K not being available as Target Rewards. Changing a preset inside an Operation Zone after a mission ends will also no longer move the player to Albion.

More specific changes, including any adjustments to Descendants, weapons, missions, events, or other systems, have not been announced in the schedule notice.
