Silent Hill: Townfall Patch 1.6 Adds Hard Mode Between Normal and Nightmare
The PS5 update also shows the player's position on the map at every difficulty and makes enemies more sensitive to sound as challenge rises.

Silent Hill: Townfall update 1.6 is now available on PS5, adding a Hard difficulty between Normal and Nightmare Mode. Hard puts more emphasis on stealth, patience, and careful resource use.
The update also adjusts difficulty across all 4 options. Some sections receive resource changes, the player’s position now appears on the map at every difficulty, and enemies become more sensitive to sound as the challenge level rises.
Townfall has already seen balance changes to its threats. Earlier, version 1.4.0 changed The Weight’s grabs on Story and Normal from instant kills to heavy damage, while also adjusting its search behavior and enemy detection.
