Meccha Chameleon 4.2.0 Adds Team Battle, 2 Maps, and 3 Body Types

Clone cooldown falls from 45 seconds to 5, while clones now earn half the Overlook Points awarded to the original body.

Meccha Chameleon version 4.2.0 adds Team Battle, two maps, Chaotic Kitchen and Paper Island, and three body types: Macho, Octopus, and Polygon. LEMORION’s Steam announcement also details a clone cooldown cut from 45 seconds to 5.

The update changes the main UI and body-selection screen, adds Overlook Lines that can be switched on or off in Options, and prevents the same map from being selected in consecutive rounds. Clones now earn half the Overlook Points awarded to the original body, even as the shorter cooldown lets players use them again sooner.

Clones arrived in version 2.0.0, which allowed players to create up to two copies and tied a clone’s destruction to the main body’s survival. Version 4.2.0 changes their cooldown and point contribution.

Other fixes address a rare issue that prevented clones from being removed, a bug that stopped hosts from earning Discovery Points, and cases where Petit Chameleon could be used when it was not allowed. The patch also fixes characters bobbing when close together and Overlook Points being difficult to earn during certain poses, while reducing network traffic.
