Meccha Chameleon Update 4.1.1 Brings Voice Chat Controls and a Lower Switch 2 Cap

The patch also fixes spectator controls, UI freezes, map loading, cursor behavior, and player-limit enforcement.

Meccha Chameleon Update 4.1.1 adds more control over voice chat, including an option to disable it and a microphone icon that appears when the game detects audio input. Incoming voice chat is now muted by default, while Switch 2 hosted sessions temporarily have a lower player limit of 10 instead of 12, according to the Steam announcement. The game’s previous Hotfix 4.1.0 added cross-play as an option.

The update also addresses several match and interface problems. Spectator controls, user management refreshes, default map loading, maximum player enforcement, brush sizing, and mouse-controlled cursor movement all receive fixes or adjustments.

Voice chat was also part of the earlier fix3.3.2 rework, which temporarily disabled proximity voice chat. Update 4.1.1 now adds settings that give players more control over incoming and outgoing audio.
